This morning I went to Hotel ITC for ING koffie morgen. It was the second koffie morgen after christmast holiday. For some reasons, I didn't come last week. So I was really looking forward to attend this occassion and gather with my friends again.
And this morning we gathered again, had coffee and talked each other about all stuff. It wasnt serious and important talk. But it made me comfortable bacause I could be a part of the conversation. We talked about culture, habits, holiday, everything. I was the only person who come from Indonesia. So, they kept asking me about Suharto's condition. I was surprised because they had so much attention about my former President's condition, especially the Netherlands. Yeahh obviously because we had so much history though.
Sometimes I feel this "koffie morgen" is like a culture, history, political and a language class. I know Netherland, Germany, Arabic, Korean and Japanese cultures through this occassion. I hope our friendship will be better and better. I feel so glad to be a part of this group.
